We are a team of experienced health-care professionals dedicated to guiding patients to the right care. Our nurse case managers support individuals from diagnosis through recovery with practical, compassionate navigation.
Carepath Caribbean: Compassionate Care
Carepath began in 2002 as Canada’s first virtual cancer navigation program, created by Dr. Denny De Petrillo at Princess Margaret Hospital. The model, which was Oncology Nurses supported by specialist physicians, set the standard for virtual patient guidance and was later expanded after its sale to Bayshore Health in 2016.
Carepath Caribbean launched in 2020 to support patients across the English-speaking Caribbean. We provide virtual cancer navigation and comprehensive support while patients remain at home, and we connect them to world-class care in Toronto in collaboration with the University Health Network (UHN) for cancer, transplants, neurosurgery, cardiology, cardiac surgery, orthopaedics, and general surgery.
Looking ahead, we will expand our virtual services in the Caribbean to include support for chronic conditions such as diabetes, obesity, cardiac disease, and cognitive decline.
